Ethics and Sustainability
Ethics
At Joifel Creative, quality products matter — and so do the people who make them. That’s why I’ve taken great care in sourcing a manufacturing partner that aligns with my values of transparency and ethical production.
The caps I use are responsibly manufactured in Indonesia by Topiku. A manufacturer that prioritizes ethical labor practices, with full traceability of where and how each hat is made — including working conditions, wages, and environmental standards. If you’d like to learn more about their incredible work, you can visit topiku.co to explore their mission and transparency in detail.
Once the blank caps arrive at my studio in Berry, NSW, each one is uniquely designed and embroidered by me, by hand. Every stitch is done slowly and intentionally, with a focus on creativity, quality, and care.
Sustainability
Sustainability is woven into every part of Joifel Creative — from materials to packaging.
All caps are made from 100% upcycled fabric, and every detail — from the brim to the button — is created using recycled components. These materials are saved from the landfill and transformed into something new, beautiful, and lasting. If you want to know more about the sustainability aspects of our caps, visit Topiku.co to learn more.
I also believe that how your order arrives should reflect the same care. That’s why all of my packaging is fully compostable. Your thank you card is printed on seeded paper embedded with Swan River Daisy seeds — a flower native to Western Australia. You can plant them under a thin layer of soil, give them a little water and sunlight, and enjoy blooms long after your cap has arrived.
Sustainability isn’t just a checkbox — it’s a commitment to create with thoughtfulness, respect, and joy.
